Trump Budget Would Gut EPA, DOE Renewables Office
The Trump administration's 2019 budget proposal would slash funding for the Environmental Protection Agency and renewable energy programs at the Department of Energy while boosting nuclear programs and fossil fuels, according to text of the proposal released by the White House. 

State Revolving Funds: Financing Drought Resilient Water Infrastructure Projects
This report was developed by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to highlight how 13 western states have used the Clean Water State Revolving Fund ("CWSRF"), Drinking Water State Revolving Fund ("DWSRF"), and other complementary state funds to address drought.

Energy Tax Credits in Final Budget Deal

The SRF WIN Act would authorize $200M for five years to increase Drinking Water and Clean Water State Revolving Funds (SRFs). It also allows State Infrastructure Authorities to utilize financing available through WIFIA—and the SRF—to increase funding for multiple local water infrastructure projects at once.

DeWitt, IA, Awarded SRF Loan for Wastewater Facility
The city of DeWitt has been chosen by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Iowa Finance Authority for a low-interest water quality loan to help fund a planning and design project for the city's wastewater treatment facility.

Connecticut Green Bank Closes on 200th C-PACE Project
The Connecticut Green Bank have announced that their Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program has closed on more than 200 projects representing more than $114 million in solar and energy efficiency upgrades for the state's businesses.

Global Green Bond Issuance Set to Eclipse $250B in 2018
Global green bond issuance is set to grow by around 60% in 2018 and eclipse a total of $250 billion, according to a new Moody's industry projection.

RI Gov. Proposes $48.5M Environmental Bond
Rhode Island Gov. Gina Raimondo's budget proposal for fiscal year 2019 includes a large environmental bond worth $48.5 million to fund land and water quality improvements. It's one of four ballot initiatives the governor is proposing for November 2018.

A first-of-its-kind Minnesota P3 is helping improve water quality and address water resource challenges including flooding and sedimentation in the Cedar River Watershed in southern Minnesota.
