PACE Equity Funds Hotel, the First New Construction and Largest PACE Project in MI
This new construction and partial redevelopment project will transform an underutilized building and contribute to the connectivity on the west side of Downtown Detroit's Central Business District. PACE Equity funded the project that is notably the first Cambria hotel to enter the Detroit market and the largest PACE project in the state of Michigan to date.

USDA Invests in Water and Wastewater Infrastructure Improvements in 25 States
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is investing $144 million to improve rural water infrastructure in 25 states. USDA is investing in 45 projects through the Water and Waste Disposal Loan and Grant program. Funds can be used for drinking water, stormwater drainage, and waste disposal systems in rural communities with 10,000 or fewer residents.

Legislation Introduced to Promote the Creation of an Appalachian Energy Storage Hub
Representatives David B. McKinley, P.E., (W.Va.-1), Carol Miller (W.Va.-3) and Alex Mooney (W.Va.-2) introduced legislation that would direct the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) to provide funds to help in the creation of an Appalachian petrochemical hub.

EPA Helps Indiana with $436M in Water Loans
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has announced a $436 million loan to help Indiana with several water projects. The Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act loan will help finance drinking water and wastewater projects in 20 Indiana communities.

Sonoma County, CA Taps into C-PACE Financing for Guayaki Yerba Mate Solar Installation
Guayakí Yerba Mate, a drink maker based in Sebastopol, along with the owner of its building, Highway Partners LLC, recently took advantage of Sonoma County's property assessed clean energy program, or PACE. According to Sonoma County, the rooftop solar system is expected to satisfy up to 95% of Guayakí's electric demand and is adding 60 kilowatt of renewable power to the regional electric grid.

Scout Clean Energy Closes Wind Farm Financing
Heart of Texas (HTX) was recently acquired by Scout from RES (Renewable Energy Systems) Americas who originally developed the project as part of the second phase of the Rattlesnake Wind Farm which commenced operations in 2018 and shares a transmission line with the HTX.

Oregon, OH to Consider Expanding Energy District
Oregon City Council will consider an ordinance that will expand its Energy Special Improvements District (ESID) to include residential properties. ESIDs are voluntary organizations of municipal corporations, townships, and property owners who undertake special energy improvement projects and finance those special energy improvement projects through voluntary special assessments.

Property Lien Registry Developed for Leading PACE Lenders to Comply with Recent Regulation
Spring Labs, which is developing the Spring Protocol, a network designed to transform how information and data are shared globally, announces that four of the nation's leading Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing providers have selected Spring Labs to develop a national property lien registry for PACE financing.
