CA Climate Budget to Include $1B Green Loan Fund
Contending that California needs to better encourage small players with ideas to address the climate crisis, Gov. Gavin Newsom included a $1 billion revolving loan program in his new budget to seed recycling, low-carbon transportation and climate-smart agriculture projects.

Benton Harbor, MI Commissioners OK $15M in Water/Sewer Work
Almost $15 million in water and sewer work should start now that Benton Harbor city commissioners gave final approval Monday for the project. The work will be partially paid for by low-interest loans from two state programs – the Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund (DWRF) for the water projects and the State Revolving Loan Fund (SRF) for the sewer projects,

Tulsa, OK Unveils New Programs for Retail, Business Developers
To help fix part of a 2016 Vision Tulsa Sales Tax Package voters approved nearly $3.5 million specifically for commercial revitalization. A portion of that package is the Retail Redevelopment and Development Fund which is a Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) intended to provide low-cost capital to retail entrepreneurs and developers.

TDEC Announce $48M Loan for Memphis, TN Water Improvements
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee and the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) Commissioner David Salyers announced a $48 million loan for the City of Memphis to address water infrastructure. This Clean Water State Revolving Fund loan will address wastewater treatment plant improvements and upgrades to secondary treatment at the T.E. Maxson Wastewater Treatment Facility.

EPA to Allow State RLF to Pay for Water Rights
The United States Environmental Protection Agency announced in a memorandum that it would allow the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund to be used for purchasing rights or access to new sources of drinking water under certain circumstances.

Staples, MN Awarded $16M for Wastewater Treatment Facility
The Minnesota Public Facilities Authority awarded over $16 million in funding for water infrastructure projects in Staples. Staples is constructing a new Class B wastewater treatment facility that will include improvements to reduce the discharge of phosphorus and mercury. Funding for the project comes from a Point Source Implementation grant of $7,000,000, a Water Infrastructure Fund grant of $3,060,681 and $6,051,599 loan from the Clean Water Revolving Fund.

EPA to Provide WA with $52.1M for Critical Water Projects
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency today announced it has approved funding in support of Washington's $22 million plan for key drinking water projects and a $120 million plan to improve wastewater infrastructure. The sources of funding for projects on Washington's Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Intended Use Plan include a $24.5 million grant from EPA. 

MN PFA Loans $5.3M for Water Infrastructure
The Minnesota Public Facilities Authority (PFA) awarded more than $5.3 million to the cities of Hamburg, Red Lake Falls and Tracy. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz said, "Keeping Minnesota's waterways clean and safe is an investment in our citizens and our community". Details on the awards as follows.
