New York-New Jersey Tunnel Project on Track to Receive $6.9B Bipartisan Infrastructure Law Grant
The Gateway Project to build two new Hudson River rail tunnels and rehabilitate the old ones between New Jersey and New York took a major step forward that puts the project on a path to ultimately receive a $6.88 billion federal grant. The Hudson Tunnel Project has entered the engineering phase of the Federal Transit Administration's Capital Investment Grants Program and the administration had updated the project to receive up to $6.88 billion in grant funding.
